If you look up documentary photography on the world wide web it says.

Documentary photography usually refers to a popular form of photography used to chronicle both significant and relevant to history and historical events and everyday life. It is typically covered in professional photojournalism, or real life reportage, but it may also be an amateur, artistic, or academic pursuit. The photographer attempts to produce truthful, objective, and usually candid photography of a particular subject, most often pictures of people.

Family documentary story telling photography means to me:

ife happening natural in your own environment. Capturing a persons essence, families connection. Capturing those fleet moments in every parents life and presenting a story through images.

I documentary session with me is a personalised session that shows how unique your family is.

These sessions showcase your normal everyday activities from feeding, bathing, reading, huggles, cleaning. I want to include your families favourite activities such as cooking, gardening, reading, board games or even visiting your favourite location. Maybe it's a weekly outing to the library?

I want to capture family history so you can look back and remember exactly how it looked and felt at this very moment.

In documentary photography, the most beautiful moment is the moment of truth.

Documentary photography is my niche and it gives me great pleasure to capture a candid moment. There is an indescribable amount of beauty in an honest photograph that is hard to find in a selfie, or staged photo. Don’t get me wrong, there is beauty in those photos too, but why pay me to take a photo that you yourself could take. I will show you the real you – the “you” that maybe you can’t see in the mirror. This is my brand of documentary photography.

The infinity symbol encompasses my philosophy that documentary photography has endless options. As you, and or your family, grow your loves and interests change too, which makes every photo session unique and fun. There is always something new and exciting to capture in documentary photography.

So please don’t say cheese. Just be yourself – and leave the rest to me.
