Freycinet Lodge Elopement - Tasmania Elopement Photographer
A Freycinet Lodge Elopement
When Ash first contacted me about photographing their Freycinet Lodge elopement I was so freaking excited!! The more I get to document elopements here in Tasmania the more I fall in love, but also to get the opportunity to photograph one at the beautiful Freycinet lodge I was doing the happy dance when they decided I would be their photographer.
I had never been to the Freycinet lodge before and it has quickly became one of my favourite venues for an intimate wedding. The view from the balcony, the ceremony location! Have to mention the accommodation. I honestly can’t think of a more beautiful spot for a wedding and I hope to get to go back and shoot there a bunch (hint hint!).
I felt right at home when I first arrived, everything and everyone was so laid back easy to get to the boys, girls and ceremony location. We didn’t have to venture far for the portraits, and still got a nice variety of photos. Ash and Nic were keen to get back to their nearest and dearest for a few drinks, dancing on the balcony and some nibbles.
When it was time for dinner outside the little spits of rain didn’t dampen the mood. When it was time for speeches many emotions and tears were shared around the table.
I had such an amazing day with these guys and stoked to share some photos from their day!
